Best Wishes.

Hi. I bought some new Sue Wilson dies last week and have been having a play with them. They are so versatile, and I am really pleased with these new purchases! I thought I would share with you the three cards I made using the new Perspectives - Triple Best Wishes die (these are from Sue's latest release) I have teamed them all with the Delicate Daisies - Open Petal dies aswell. The third card also shows a peak of the other die set I bought - Perspectives Happy. I have made another two cards using this set, but will wait a week or two to post those as they are Birthday cards for my Brothers.
Next week I will start showing the creations I have been making for my Mum and Dad's Anniversary. I do hope you will be able to pop by to take a look :-)
Thanks for stopping by.

April Challenge over at Lili of the Valley.

Hi. I thought I'd share my card with you which I have entered in the April Challenge over on Lili of the Valley's Facebook page. The specification along with using a LOTV image was to use at least 3 of these colours: Aqua, Pink, Red, Ivory, Lilac.
My chosen colours were pink, red and ivory. I have used an image from one of the art pads and the pink backing paper is from LOTV. The sentiment is also from LOTV. I have used Sue Wilson's circle heart frame from the Italian Collection, Decorative Frames. The scalloped border is from Crafter's Companion Floral Delight, and the flowers are the Pretty Petals from the same collection.
I hope you like it. Why not pop over and have a go - there are some fabulous prizes on offer!
Thanks for stopping by.

A Hint Of Pink.

Hi. So sorry I haven't been around for a few weeks. I have had this horrible virus thats been going around, and it really took it out of me :-( Anyway, I am on the mend now and back to crafting with lots to catch up on!
I thought I'd share this pretty card with you. I just love this colour combo and am really pleased with  how it turned out.
I have used dies by Sue Wilson. Both the Auckland and Hamilton from the New Zealand Collection. The flowers are from the Delicate Daisies - Open Petals. I love these flowers, so pretty and delicate. The sentiments are from LOTV.
I hope you like it. Will be back again soon to show you what I have been working on for my Mum and Dad's Golden Wedding Anniversary :-)

Happy Mother's Day

Hi. Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely Mums out there :-)
I am sharing the two cards I made for my lovely Mum and Mother-In-Law. I didn't want anything too fussy, as I have had a lot of cards to make recently, so decided to go clean and simple!
A special mention goes to Sandra at Cotswold Crafter, as I based my cards on the sketch which she set as last Monday's challenge :-)
I have used Crafter's Companion, Floral Delight - Scalloped Border, and Sue Wilson's Delicate Daisies - Open Petals dies. I am loving these new purchases from Make It at Farnborough last weekend, I just know they are going to be featured on a lot of my cards in the future.
Have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by.

Loving Wishes.

Hi. Today I am sharing a card I made for my Dad to give my Mum on Mother's Day. Even after all these years I still think its so lovely that my Dad likes to give my Mum a card on this day :-)
I have used a LOTV image from one of the art pads, still got a few of these to use even though they are now discontinued. The main die is Auckland from Sue Wilson's New Zealand Collection. I just love the shape of this. I have used two different types of flowers, firstly the Delicate Daisies - Open Petals, by Sue Wilson and secondly Floral Delight collection, Pretty Petals by Crafter's Companion. I think they work really well together. I finished off the centre of each flower with a small circle die cut. The patterned paper is from First Edition Paper called Gilded Winter. This is a lovely paper pad, full of gorgeous designs.
I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by.
