Its been a while!

Hi. Sorry I haven't posted for a while. You know how it is.....! Anyway, I have been crafting and have a few cards I'd like to share, however I won't post them all today. As Sue Wilson has her new die launch over on www.particraft.blogspot.co.uk I thought I would share a couple of cards I made inspired by Sues creations. The first card uses the New York Collection - Times Square, and the second one the Scandinavian Collection - Copenhagen. (The border on this one is a Tonic Studios Die). I hope you like them both and thanks for stopping by.

New Crafty Stash.

Hi. I spent last Friday and Saturday at the Make It craft show in Farnborough. Wow, I love going there - just wish it was held more than once a year. Its a crafters paradise!! Anyway, I had saved my money and bought loads of lovely new crafting goodies. So much to choose and you could quite easily make yourself bankrupt. Fortunately for me I didn't, I was very good this year and only went for two days instead of the three (and came home with some money). So, today I have been playing with some of my new stash. These cards both use Sue Wilson dies, LOTV Solids papers and Craftwork Cards Scrumptious Collection - which I couldn't resist :o) I hope you like them. Thanks for stopping by.

Love Is In The Air.

Hi. Sorry, I was hoping to be back again the other day, but never quite got around to it. Anyway, I wanted to show you this card which I made for my Son to give his girlfriend on Valentines Day. Using a LOTV image - this one I had, but not from the art pads, it was one of the topper sheet images that used to be available (although I think this image may be available in one of the art pads now!) The sentiment is from LOTV and I used my winning Maja Designs papers too - sad to say I have nearly used them all up now, must try to get some more! I hope you like the card - not sure if I overdone the glitter!?
Before I go, just wanted to share with you that I won another prize!! Yes, I was so excited to see my name drawn on the long list of very lucky winners last week on Sue Wilsons blog www.particraft.blogspot.co.uk I have won a set of Sue's dies :o) My Husband says I should start doing the lottery again as I keep winning these prizes!
Thanks for stopping by.

Cupcake Birthday.

As promised I'm back again! Wanted to share this card as its the recipients Birthday today. Again using another LOTV image. I remembered I had these little cupcake stamps so wanted to use one on this card. The lady who received this card loves baking cakes, so I thought it was very appropriate for her :-) I hope you like it.

Better Late Than Never!

Hi. Been a couple of weeks since I last blogged, I'm sorry! Have been making cards so I do have a few to share with you over the next few days :-) Firstly, it was Hubbies Birthday at the end of January, so I made a card from me (the first one shown) and then one each for my sons to give him. The LOTV art pads came in handy for these. I don't know about anyone else, but I always struggle to make cards for men. Anyway, the images were great for these and saved the day (I was almost tempted to go out and buy his cards!!) My cards for men always seem to end up looking the same, but  they are hand made so at least the recipient knows that some thought has gone into them. Anyway, I hope you like them, and I will be back soon with another card.

A Great Day!

Hi. I am so pleased, proud and chuffed to bits!! Today has been a fab day. Firstly I received my GORGEOUS card from Sue Wilson, it is absolutely stunning - the pictures on the blog do not do her creations justice. Secondly, after waiting for the news since November, my son texted me from school to say he had passed his GCSE english exam with a grade C. Yay, I am over the moon for him and so proud. I couldn't stop smiling :-) Well done Luke! (Cant wait to give him a big hug) I dashed home after work and made this card for him. I hope you like it.

70th Birthday Card

Hi again. It's my Mums 70th Birthday on Monday and I made this card for my Dad to give her. I used some more of my winning Maja Design papers, a LOTV coloured image and sentiment stamps and Spellbinders dies. I still need to make her a card from me - left it a bit last minute I know! However, that is what I shall be doing tomorrow, along with starting a card for my Niece, whose Birthday is next weekend. Busy, Busy! Anyway, I hope you like this card.
