Sketch Based Card.

Hi. Just popping in quickly tonight to share a card that I realised I hadn't blogged. The background dies were based on a sketch set for one of the weekly card challenges by Sandra over on the
Cotswold Crafter blog a little while back. I decided to use the main die for my focal element on this card. I love the look of this die set when used together. (New Zealand Collection  - Hamilton die, by Sue Wilson) The sentiment is from LOTV.
I will be back in a few days to share some more Christmas cards. Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Candles.

Hi. I'm here today to start sharing some of the Christmas cards I've made. I didn't realise I had made so many and am quite pleased with my stash so far!
Todays cards are both made using the Memory Box Glowing Candles die and Sue Wilson's Grace die. The candles, with the sprigs of holly are classic Christmas and sit perfectly on the Grace frame. I inked the candles with Distress inks and added some Fran-tage embossing enamel for extra sparkle. The Peace sentiment, is also by Sue from the Dove of Peace set. The pretty Christmas papers are from my craft stash.
Hope you like them. Will be back again soon with more Christmas creations.

Guitar Boy.

Hi. I am so behind with my blogging and I apologise for that. I have been busy making cards for different occasions and building up my Christmas card stash. Before I devote some posts to Christmas, I wanted to share the Birthday card I made for our youngest son James. His Birthday was back in August, but I wanted this card to have its day on the blog. James has just recently started playing the guitar, teaching himself, with a little help from my Hubby, so this image was just right for him (although we don't have a dog, lol)
The image is from one of the LOTV art pads, as is the stamped sentiment. The die cut sentiment is from Spellbinders and the guitars are from All Occasion Dies by Robert Addams.
I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by.

Follow Your Dreams.

Hi. I thought today would be the best day to share this card with you which I made for my eldest son Luke.  He has always been football mad, and today is the start of him continuing his education at Complete Academy to carry out his Sports Diploma level 3.
Of course this image from one of the LOTV art pads was a must for my card, and I decided to make it into a shaker card. The little footballs are stamped and cut out, adding to the sequins for a bit of fun. The sentiment is also from LOTV, and the stamped background - which I think looks like a football goal when continuously stamped is from Kaisercraft.
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back again soon.
