Happy Anniversary Card - LOTV.

Hi. Here's an Anniversary card I made recently for my Dad to give to my Mum. I used one of the Lili Of The Valley images from one of the coloured art pads. These art pads are fabulous and the image used is taken from the James and Jenny Bear set. I just love them!

Box Card.

Hi. Sorry I've not blogged in a while. Have been crafting but never seem to have time to post. Anyway, I've been seeing lots of these box cards so thought I'd have a go myself. Got the perfect occasion coming up as my Father-In-Law will be 70 at the end of this month. I am rather pleased with the way it came out - although I did have to reinforce the corner folds as when I scored them the card did start on break up a little, but nothing that a bit of thin double sided and glitter couldn't fix ;o) Hope you like.

Birthday Celebrations.

My Sister-In-Law celebrated her 40th Birthday on Mothers Day, so I wanted to make a special card. I was pleased with how it turned out using my new Spellbinders and Memory Box dies and Heartfelt Creations papers. I also made a money wallet card to give instead of just putting her present in the main card. We spent a lovely evening celebrating and although I took my camera ready to take lots of photos (something else I need to get back to now that my hand is getting better) I was taken with my Sister-In-Laws new camera, and ended up snapping lots of pics on that for her! Its a lovely camera and I hope the pictures taken will bring back many happy memories for years to come :-)

Long Time.......No Post!

Hi.

I am still around and have been crafting, although haven't had time to post. There never seems enough hours in the day. I would like to share a couple of cards recently made which I am quite pleased with. Firstly, one for my In-Laws to celebrate their 45th Wedding Anniversary, and secondly a Retirement card a client asked me to make for one of the wardens at the sheltered housing home. As I said I was rather pleased with them - although they took longer to make than usual, I enjoyed putting them together and it gave me a chance to use some of my new crafty bits that I purchased recently. I am particularly pleased with the pins on the 45th card, as I made these myself with a little inspiration from Sue Wilson of PartiCraft :o)

Getting Back To It.........

Have been out of action for quite a while now for which I apologise. I underwent a trapeziectomy operation in November and am now only just getting back to using my right hand. Although I still have to be careful and must try not to over do it!! Easier said than done ;-). Anyway, I will try to start posting again so please keep checking back. Thanks.
