Never Too Early For Christmas.

Hi. I'm back today with my first Christmas card of 2014!! I know the sun is shining and Christmas is a long way off, but its never to early to start! Lol. I've been meaning to start making them for a while now, and although I have had the odd play around with making something Christmassy todays show is my first finished creation. I've used a LOTV image from one of the older topper sheets. The sentiment is just a stamp I got at a craft fair (don't know who its by.) The dies are Memory Box and Sue Wilson, and I used my new Tim Holtz distressing tool to distress the edges of the papers. I hope you like it.

New Home Card.

Hi. My In-Laws are hoping to move house in August, although at this time things aren't going smoothly (Do they ever?) Anyway, I thought I would make a card in preparation and will be able to give it to them when they do move. Using a LOTV image from one of the topper sheets - the first one I've used. Bought them as I liked the image and you never know when you might need to make a quick new home card!!

Kusudama Flowers.

Hi. I had a go at making some Kusudama flowers in the week and was really pleased with how they turned out. They were a bit fiddly to start with, but once I got the hang of them it was pretty easy. Two of them were stuck together using double sided (thin) tape and the other using glue. I wanted to try both to see which stuck best, but they both held together well so in future I think it will just be a matter of preference! I have left them for now just to sit on their sides, but could easily attach to a stick to put in a vase, and could also have a jewel or button stuck on the centre point.

Birthday Girl.

Hi. Thought I'd share a card I made for a clients Daughter. Love this pretty LOTV image from one of the Art Pads and thought the paper went really well with it. The circle die is from Sue Wilson and the flowers are punches. Thanks for stopping by.

Fathers Day.

I've been busy making Fathers Day cards this week, so thought I'd share a couple with you. These are made using LOTV images and circular sentiment. I love the little tag sentiment slipped in the side - this stamp is by inkadinkado. I will be using this again for many other occasions I'm sure! Hope you like them.
