Same Dies, Different Card.

Hi. I wanted to share with you the second card I made using my new dies. I think this can be used for any occasion as the Just For You sentiment is so versatile.
Again I have used the Noble Double Pierced Squares for my matting and layering in two different shades of grey pearl card. From the New York Collection - Times Square, I cut four of the smallest dies to add as a background. I used the Grace die set cut in pink and grey, and added the Just For You sentiment on top. Three pink heart outlines added to the bold hearts within the sentiment to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you leave.

Just For You.

Hi. I'm back today to share a card I made with a couple of new dies. One can never have too many die sets - the only problem being not enough hours in the day to play!!
The focal element of my card is the Just For You die, from Phill Martin's From The Heart Collection. Along with the sentiment in this set are four different sized small hearts and one heart outline. I love this outline, and as you can see I have used it on my card to give depth to the hearts already cut within the sentiment. I have mounted the sentiment onto the Grace die from Sue Wilson's Frames and Tags Collection. This has been mounted using the Double Pierced Squares from Sue's Noble Collection to make the frames.
I am really pleased with the way it turned out, and I hope you like it too :-)

Framed Background - Christmas Card.

Hi. As promised I'm back to share the second card I made with the framed background. This time, a Christmas card to add to my stash.
I have used the same Copenhagen background die within the frame, but didn't glitter through this one. My main focal element is the dove from Sue Wilson's Festive Collection - Dove of Peace. I double cut this to build up the wings. I have also used the Peace sentiment from the same set, cut in glitter cardstock to match the dove, and mounted onto a Spellbinders tag. The patterned paper is from the Silent Night Collection by First Edition Papers, Trimcraft.
I really appreciate you stopping by and love reading your comments. Thank you so much :-)

Framed Background.

Hi. Today I'd like to share a card where I have changed the size and shape of the background die to be used with my other dies. I recently purchased Sue Wilson's Noble - Double Pierced Squares - Set B, from Set Craft. These dies are fabulous for frames or just as matting and layering squares. I love them and am so pleased I now have them in my stash :-)
I cut the Copenhagen Background die - from Sue Wilson's Scandinavian Collection - and backed it with some double sided adhesive sheet, and glittered with fine irridescent glitter. I cut a frame from the Noble squares to the size I wanted and cut my background to fit nicely within the frame. I then cut two larger squares to layer up behind. These were just mounted on a plain cut square. The flowers are Sue Wilson's Delicate Daisies - Open Petals. The centres are a small circle die, cut and glittered on top again with double sided adhesive. I finished the card off with one of the Triple Best Wishes - from Sue's Perspective Collection - cut to size. I hope you like it.
I also made a Christmas card, using the same background technique and I shall be posting that in the next couple of days. I would love for you to pop back to see it :-)
Thanks for stopping by.

Snowflakes.

Hi. Thought I'd share one of the Christmas cards I've already made. This was one of two I made together, the other one sent in for Sandra's Sketch Challenge over at Cotswold Crafter
I have used Sue Wilson's Happy Christmas die from last years Festive Collection. The large snowflake is from Joy! Crafts, and the other 3 snowflakes are cut from Memory Box's Snowflake Love Pendant. The tiny snowflakes in the centres are from a Tonic punch. The papers are from the Shabby Christmas Paper Bloc also from Joy! Crafts.
I'm building up quite a nice little stash of Christmas cards already, and will be showing you some more over the coming weeks.

18th Birthday.

Hi. Just a quick post tonight as its late, but I wanted to show you the Birthday card I made for my Nephew's 18th Birthday a couple of weeks ago.
I have used Sue Wilson's Happy and Best Wishes Perspective dies and one of the corners from Memory Box - Distressed Addington Collage. I love these dies, they are all so versatile and cut beautifully.
Thanks for stopping by.

Challenge Card Selection.

Hi. Apologies for not blogging for a few weeks, I hadn't realised how long it had been. Today I thought I'd share with you some of the cards I have made to take part in various challenges over on Cotswoldcrafter blog. This fabulous blog is hosted by the lovely Sandra, and I have been made very welcome by all its friendly members. There is a beautiful array of cards and crafts on display and a new sketch challenge every Monday. Sandra has also recently introduced a mid week mini challenge every other week which gets our minds thinking of other ideas for using our vast ranges of crafty stash. If you have a few minutes to spare pop on over and say hi, you won't be disappointed! :-)

This was my first sketch challenge card.

Some more Sketch challenge cards.

The next cards are from Sandra's recently introduced mini challenges.

This challenge was to use an older die which hadn't been used in the last 6 months.

This was to use the Bokeh effect on our card.

This was to use an embossing folder(s) and no dies. I found this one very challenging! ;-)

Thank you for stopping by today.
